PictureRoad ride with Taylor Fletcher and pro rider, Tommy Nankervis/NNF meeting
The team has just finished one of the longest training weeks of the year, nearly 1,000 minutes of endurance training! The week consisted of long bike rides around Park City including a four hour ride to Kamas, UT and back. We also had a steady state workout on Wednesday at the Utah Olympic Park as well as three days of heavy weight lifting. All in all it was a productive week and I am looking forward to this recovery week. The week will consist of easy bike rides and roller skis. I even got to get a round of golf in with teammate/roommate, Taylor Fletcher today. I guess you could say I was a little rusty since it was the first time I have played golf in four years. But I had a lot of fun and I hope I get to play more this summer.

Last week I attended a National Nordic Foundation meeting along with many other athletes that rely on the NNF to train and compete. It was a great overview of the NNF and where the money was spent. The NNF was a huge help this past season and I can't thank everyone enough for their donations. We will continue to raise money through the NNF to help support the National team as well as development teams.

I am also excited to tell you that I will be representing the sunglasses and bike helmet company, Rudy Project during the 2013-14 season as well as 2014-15 season! Many of my teammates use their product and I am looking forward to using their amazing products in the upcoming years. Thanks Rudy Project!!!

On Saturday, some of the team will be doing the Sugarhouse criterium road race down in Salt Lake City. For those of you who don't know what a criterium is, I will explain the best I can. It is a mass start with a group of 20-50 riders. The course is usually very short and technical. We will race around a loop (1kilometer) for about 30 minutes and when the time is up, the officials will ring a bell signaling that it is the last lap . We then go around the course one more time and whoever crosses the line first wins. The race is high speed but extremely fun. I will be joined by coach Dave Jarrett and teammate Adam Loomis.

The beginning of the summer has been amazing and I will continue to keep you updated!

Hope everyone is having a great summer!

As you are traveling in a group, the experience will be different for you. You will experience more personal air about the entire trip. The staff at all the locations will do everything to make sure that you are comfortable and you may be able to get a personal tour guide around the area that you are visiting for business. All of this will prove unique to your group travel because of the number of people traveling together. Kaanapali Beach Hotel Maui
